Parramatta School Holiday Activities with a Difference

Our school holiday programs in Parramatta are designed for kids who benefit from a little extra support – and a lot of fun. Every group is led by our qualified therapists and capped at small numbers, so your child gets real attention, not just supervised play.

Whether you're searching for meaningful Parramatta school holiday activities or a structured program that keeps working on your child's goals, our groups tick both boxes. Kids come away with new skills, new friends, and (usually) a story or two to tell.

Introduction to

Jiu Jitsu Group

Back by popular demand our school holidays Introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School Holiday Intensive Group will return for the September/ October school holidays. With the support of our experienced therapists and the Kaizen Foundation, your kids will get a chance to explore the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu in a supportive, adaptive environment.

Your child will develop strength, coordination, body awareness, confidence and learn about safe boundaries whilst making new friends! This program is suitable for children with learning and movement difficulties of all abilities.

Social Games Club - Juniors

Our Social Games Group is designed for children aged 5–7 years to build confidence, communication, and positive friendships through fun, play-based games and activities. The group supports the development of social communication, emotional regulation, cooperation, problem-solving, and play skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Cafe Club

Join our Cafe Club! A fun, hands-on space where older kids learn how to run their own drink and snack stand!

With support, your child will practice planning menus, tracking supplies, and setting out simple pastries and drinks. We’ll also take trips into the community to shop, giving them real-world practice with budgeting, using money, and navigating public spaces. They will also build social skills and confidence as they practice greeting guests, taking orders, and having friendly conversations.

Why Group Programs Work Alongside Individual Therapy

One-on-one therapy is where a lot of the foundational work happens. But groups are where kids get to practise in real time, with real peers, real challenges, and real wins.

That's why our holiday groups are designed to complement your child's existing therapy goals, not replace them. If your child is already working with us on communication, coordination, or independence skills, a group is a chance to test those skills in a low-stakes social environment.

Some families also use our intensive therapy programs during school holidays for a more targeted burst of individual support. Groups and intensives work really well together.

Using Your NDIS Funding for School Holiday Programs

Our school holiday groups are NDIS claimable, and navigating the funding side of things is easier than it sounds.

What Line Item Do Groups Fall Under?

Holiday programs at EveryKid are typically claimed under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living supports. This covers therapy-led group programs where a qualified therapist is delivering the session.

Plan-Managed and Self-Managed Participants

Both plan-managed and self-managed participants can access our NDIS school holiday programs. If you're agency-managed, get in touch and we'll confirm whether our registration covers your child's specific supports.

Therapist-to-Participant Ratios

Our groups run with a maximum of 6 participants per therapist (some programs have two therapists), so funding claims reflect genuine therapeutic delivery, not just supervision.
